Of all the many forms of exercise there are, scientists have finally correlated a top workout with longevity. And the winner is: running. Runners who are consistent with their exercise have been found to live longer and those who engage in running and an additional workout increase longevity even more significantly. Researchers compared several large scale studies on exercise and longevity to produce data suggesting that runners decrease the chance of early death by 30-40% over their peers who don’t run.
